    After reading the negative reviews I was a little hesitant to buy them. Now that I have received them I'm glad I bought these. I assembled and mounted them in very little time. I mounted two 10' kayaks on top of my Explorer with no problems. The construction is of course light weight but plenty sturdy enough to handle their intended load.
    I had no issues with the racks or the straps working loose like others have mentioned, even after 30 minutes on the highway. As with all items like this, a little common sense and a bit of mechanical skills is all that is needed.

    Great Racks and Great Price

    So far they work great. I had no issues mounting them, went on with no problems. I have had one trip so far with 2 kayaks and there was very little wind noise and after a 3 hour drive, they were still secure and stable. I also love the fact that they fold down so that I dont have to remove them after every trip. Although I may remove them come winter.
    Over all, for the price, these I feel are a phenomenal deal. I am really happy with them..
